    Authentic Community - growth groups

Growth Groups are not classes. Growth Groups are not social clubs. The purpose of Growth Groups is to provide environments in which we can grow into spiritual maturity and in Christ-centered relationships. Our greatest need is to be in relationship with God and with other people, and Growth Groups help us to do both. In order to assist even the busiest families, we have organized Growth Groups in two ways:

      Life stages

By broadening our classifications, we can have stronger and more rel­evant groups to promote community and learning for where you are in life. Metro’s life stages include:

  • Children • Students • Young Adults • Married • Adults • Seniors • Men • Women • Singles

      Multiple offerings

• Sunday Growth Groups (here on Metro’s campus at 9:00am)

• Wed. Growth Groups (here on Metro’s campus at 6:30pm)

• Weekly Growth Groups (take place in homes, at the church, restaurants, etc. at various times throughout the week)

   Great Vision - ministry teams

Did you know that God has a great vision for every person’s life, including yours? Here at Metro we believe every person has unique gifts, talents, and experiences that are to be used to reach out to oth­ers in need. By discovering and using our gifts and passions in Minis­try Teams, we connect to God’s great redemptive mission. Although each team is very distinct in their function, they all work together to reach people with the gospel. Take time to understand each Ministry Team in function and reason, and then choose the one in which you would like to serve in.
